2 PROLOGUE

Peering into the darkness requires courage when eyes from the shadow return your gaze. Those who live in the darkness, their eyes peering back from the shadow of years spent away from the light, tell us much about the countless others who remain hidden. Most of the eyes staring back are veiled with discouragement, but some are enraged at anyone who ventures into their darkness. These shadows of false perception border each life, each personal experience on the journey into the light.

When you stand in that light and turn back to look into the eyes within the shadows of illusion, you will want to meet their gaze, greet the soul behind them, direct their course with knowledge and wisdom, and aid them with understanding. You have spent each day of your life digging a well of refreshment, each day filling a shovel of knowledge, a shovel of wisdom, reaching for that understanding that comes with the inspiration and the flow of the spirit. This you did to quench your own thirst, but also to create a access to the source, a flow, from which to give other travelers refreshment on their pathway to discover truth.

Truth, hidden by doctrine and false philosophies that place religion and science at odds, is now being revealed. There is not a separate truth for religion and a separate truth for science. These are not separate truths. Truth is one. Long ago man thought the world was flat. Even after the discovery that it was round, many died still believing in the old view that it was flat. Look through the eyes of science in this day and age. How vastly different is scientific perception now from what it was a few years ago. Today's view is as monumentally different from the old one as looking at a flat world with a new understanding of earth's relationship to the rotation of galaxies. Science has shifted its understanding and is merging with truth. The discoveries of quantum physics indicate that what you are experiencing is a subjective reality. Quantum physics has uncovered the unifying formula, the equation that reveals the divine intent the moment before creation. Rather than being at odds with truth, science is now helping to lift the veil that has kept it hidden. It will not be long before all will know the truth.

This book is a journey into the light of truth beyond the illusion. Its intent is to aid you into the center of that light and evolve your human sense of perception. From within that light, You will have the opportunity to lead others from their darkness. Let that light be your well of refreshment. Offer the truth that heals the bitterness, the discouragement, and the confusion within the shadows. Offer an inspiration at your well.
